Poem Postcards

We’re sending out postcards of HOPE in our Poem Packages!

In these strange, uncertain times, we want to share words of hope with people who are isolated.

We’ve created Poem Postcards to send out via brilliant community partners throughout the country. They’re being tucked into food packages and delivered to people who are shielding during lockdown.

The poem we’ve chosen, by Nazia Khan, is one of many from our Change the Word poetry collective, 50 poets from all over the world who have made the UK their home.

Wherever we all are, we know we can’t be connected in person right now, but we hope this poem brings a moment of connection into the days of everyone who receives it, even from afar.

The postcards can then be sent on to friends or family, to keep sharing the hope around the country.

How can I share words of HOPE in my community?

If your community or mutual aid group would like to share Poem Postcards in food packages you’re delivering, please get in touch with emily@goodchance.org.uk

We arrange the printing and delivery, so all you need to do is pop the postcards into the packages - nothing more!

Our Poem Postcard is designed by the brilliant Bethany Wells, who also designed the set for our Change the Word Sheffield show The Words We Carry.
