Workshop Facilitator
Stage Door opportunity on
Good Chance’s new Hope Shows
Good Chance is seeking two Workshop Facilitators for our pilot co-creation project with people from refugee and asylum seeking backgrounds, as part of our new Hope Shows programme. We are looking for individuals with energy and enthusiasm, who are great with people, eager to share their skills and knowledge, and who are open to developing within the role. Creativity and kindness is at the heart of this project, so we’re seeking facilitators who can inspire participants and support them in shaping and sharing their stories through a collaborative artistic process.
This role is part of Good Chance’s Stage Door Programme, designed as a professional development opportunity open specifically to people from a refugee or asylum seeking background with lived experience of displacement. We are looking for people who already have a strong foundation of experience in facilitation and the arts, and who are excited to continue developing these skills within a supportive professional environment.
We’re recruiting two Workshops Facilitators based in London.
Each Hope Show will consist of twelve 2-hour weekly workshops on Thursday afternoon/evenings with occasional Tuesday work, plus intensive rehearsals over the final two weeks, over a period of approximately 3 months from early October through mid-December 2025, culminating in a high production value performance. There will be some additional prep work required outside of the workshop timeslots, hours to be discussed.
Facilitators must be available for the full workshop cycle and performance week.
London Fee: £110 per day, paid pro rata based on total working hours throughout October - December 2025.
The role will be required to be on-site at rehearsals and workshops and performances in London.
To apply for this role, please email Hope Show’s producer, Melanie Bafitis, at melanie@goodchance.org.uk
Deadline for applications: by 21st September 5pm at the latest with separate attachments of:

Good Chance is committed to widening access and to equality of opportunity for all staff and freelancers. Applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, caring responsibilities, disability, gender, gender identity, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and sexual orientation.
