All stories can be told, but only the ones that are listened to will live forever.

The Wish Tree thrives when listening to stories told by its guardians.

Stories that have crossed borders, continents, oceans, hiding deep in the hearts of people waiting to be listened to. With each telling, another story finds a home, and the Wish Tree grows ever stronger.

Once every year, the guardians of the Wish Tree open their gates for everyone to visit. Will you come?

Good Chance invites you into an intimate world shaped by collective storytelling, rooted in love, compassion and togetherness.

The Wish Tree joins the legacy of Good Chance’s Hope Shows, co-created performances that began in our Dome in the Calais Jungle refugee camp and later in Paris, London, Coventry, Sheffield and beyond. Each show was produced with the local community of refugees and asylum-seekers, celebrating their unique artistic talents, and offering a space for people to come together and dream of a shared future.

The Wish Tree is part of the revival of this founding project, relaunched this year in London with an extraordinary group of community members from displaced backgrounds in partnership with Migrants Organise.

We are deeply grateful to the following for their support towards Good Chance's Hope Shows programme: Stanley Thomas Johnson Foundation, Crucible Foundation, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, Porticus, and Alexander and Brenda Leff

With special thanks to the Migrants Organise Community Programme and Organising Teams and Volunteers including Francesca Valerio (Community Programme Director), Micol Carmignani (Operations Manager), Kezia Pearce (Community Programme Volunteer) and Zrinka Bralo (CEO)
