Creative Facilitation, Workshop Delivery and Leadership through Theatre Training for Young Refugees / Asylum-Seekers - Phosphoros Theatre

Location: London

The Phosphoros Leadership Programme is a supported pathway for young people aged 18–25 from refugee or asylum-seeking backgrounds to develop skills in creative facilitation, workshop delivery and leadership through theatre.

Open Call for artists, curators and cultural practitioners based in the North East of England seeking to (re)build their international curatorial practice - ASSEMBLE by D6: Culture in Transit

ASSEMBLE is a new international arts programme exploring climate emergency at the intersection of involuntary migration, displacement, conflict and ecological decline. D6: Culture in Transit will host a Fellowship open to Artists, Curators and cultural practitioners with lived experience of enforced migration, displacement or exile. This is open to practitioners based in the North East of England, seeking to (re)build their international curatorial practice and networks.

Duration: 12 months, June 2026–June 2027 (part-time and flexible with the exception of the international travel dates and group residency)
Fee: £7,740 fee and production budget of £5,280

​Applicants must be able to travel internationally to Cyprus, Morocco, Spain, UK and Ukraine (the latter will be hybrid and travel will only be considered if government travel advice and the safety situation allows for this, and they will respect each person’s preference). If you are not able to travel to any of these destinations, please let them know in your application.

Applications are now open for Projekt Empower, Projekt Europa’s mentorship program for migrant theatre makers based in the UK. They match 10 emerging migrant artists with the country’s most successful migrant theatre makers and empower them to become leading creative change makers of the future. The Camden Fringe is a performing arts festival, established in 2006, which takes place in Camden during August. Anyone and everyone is welcome to apply. Previous fringe events have encompassed new writing, opera, musicals, stand-up, sketch comedy, dance, cabaret, poetry, opera, mentalism, improvisation and opera. ‘the other side of hope’ invite refugee, asylum seeker and immigrant poets from around the world to submit their poetry for their other tongue, mother tongue issue. This edition celebrates linguistic diversity by featuring poetry written in any language, presented along English translations​. There is no theme; you don’t have to send work that relates to the refugee or immigrant experience. Send up to two poems written in your own language.

Improbable’s 21st annual unconventional convention for everyone who is passionate about making change in theatre and the performing arts is back! Since 2006, Improbable has been using a process called Open Space Technology to facilitate these gatherings where everyone’s voice matters, no topic is off-limits, and the agenda is created by the people in the room. There are no keynote speakers. No panels. No fixed programme. You decide what gets talked about, explored, challenged, and dreamed into being.

If the question “What are we going to do about Theatre and the Performing Arts?” inspires you, invigorates you, or even infuriates you — then this is for you. As part of the Good Chance family, there are also limited numbers of complimentary tickets available for refugee and migrant artists. Poetry, Visual Art and Writing, Open Call for Submissions - Gaza’s Creative Allies

Gaza Verse is a publication that brings together works from creators around the world, to spread the work of those who stand in solidarity with Palestine and its people, as well as Palestinian creators from within Palestine and those displaced across the world. The next release will focus on the theme of art beyond borders and they're looking for pieces (poetry, visual art, articles or anything in between) to include.
