With displaced artists centre stage, we create groundbreaking, heart-thumping theatre that brings people together and makes BIG change possible. Are you in?

2025 is Good Chance's 10th year. What started in a small tent in the muddy fields of the Calais Jungle refugee camp has grown into a global movement of hope and humanity, in pursuit of the ongoing question: How do we live together now?

WHAT’S ON

  • KYOTO, AUTUMN 2025

Fresh off critically acclaimed, sold out productions in Stratford-upon-Avon and London’s West End, Kyoto will make its blistering North American premiere at Lincoln Center in New York, opening the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater season with an eerily prescient message.

  • A GRAIN OF SAND, JULY 2025

Written and directed by Good Chance’s new Deputy Artistic Director Elias Matar, A Grain of Sand premiered at the London Palestine Film Festival in 2024 and will be performed at the Liverpool Arab Arts Festival in July 2025. This one-woman show takes an intimate look at war through the eyes of a child, blending Palestinian folklore with real-life testimonies from children in contemporary Gaza.

  • DISCRETION, JUNE 2025

Following a tour around Algeria and to Marseille in 2024, Faïza Guène's Discretion returns by popular demand to the stage in June 2025 as part of the Les 15-16 à l'heure d'été Festival at the Théâtre de la Sucrière in Marseille on Friday 20th June. Tickets are FREE and unreserved - just show up!

“When I crossed Mediterranean sea from Libya to Italy and stayed in the Jungle for 4 months, I met the wonderful people of Good Chance. They helped me to forget my nightmare and the journey that I had been on there. Since we were in the Calais Jungle, all through to now, Good Chance gave us opportunities to make a difference.”
